SW2 – HOW IT WORKS
Protection that last months, not minutes.
Traditional disinfectants typically need to be left wet on a surface for 5 to 10 minutes in order to achieve a 99.9%+ (3 log) reduction of germs.
However, in reality it’s only left on a surface for a matter of seconds before being wiped away. This dramatically reduces the efficacy of the disinfectant, delivering only a fraction of the claimed reduction.
Even when traditional disinfectants are used correctly it only provides momentary protection at the time of disinfection – meaning the surfaces are re-contaminated the second someone coughs, touches it or sneezes.
By contrast, SW2 is always fighting for your business. SW2 bonds to your desks, door handles and equipment forming a protective coating. As soon as a re-contamination event occurs SW2 immediately starts killing germs. This protective coating is continuously delivering a 99.9% (3 log) reduction, 24 hours a day.
Importantly, SW2 is a mechanical kill, not a chemical kill, meaning there is limited risk of mutations.
As the comparison below shows, there is significantly less risk of surface transmission of infections when SW2 has been applied.
Proven efficacy
Whether tested in the real-world or in harsh lab conditions SW2 outperforms all expectations. Following 1,620 simulated cleaning cycles, equivalent to over 90 days on high touch surfaces such as door handles, SW2 was still delivering a 99.9%+ reduction against germs.
The proven efficacy of SW2 supports better public health outcomes.
