SW2™ – HOW IT WORKS

No ordinary disinfectant

Traditional disinfectants typically need to be left wet on a surface for 5 to 10 minutes in order to achieve a 99.9%+ (3 log) reduction of germs.

However, in reality it’s only left on a surface for a matter of seconds before being wiped away. This dramatically reduces the efficacy of the disinfectant, delivering only a fraction of the claimed reduction.

Even when traditional disinfectants are used correctly it only provides momentary protection at the time of disinfection – meaning the surfaces are re-contaminated the second someone coughs, touches it or sneezes.

By contrast, SW2™ is always fighting for your business. SW2™ bonds to your desks, door handles and equipment forming a protective coating. As soon as a re-contamination event occurs SW2 immediately starts killing germs, bacteria and COVID-19. This protective coating is continuously delivering a 99.9% (3 log) reduction, 24 hours a day.

Importantly, SW2™ is a mechanical kill, not a chemical kill, meaning there is limited to no risk of mutations.

As the comparison below shows, there is significantly less risk of surface transmission of infections when SW2™ has been applied.

Proven efficacy

Whether tested in the real-world or in harsh lab conditions SW2™ outperforms all expectations. Following 1,620 simulated cleaning cycles, equivalent to over 90 days on high touch surfaces such as door handles, SW2™ was still delivering a 99.9%+ reduction against bacteria and coronavirus.

The proven efficacy of SW2™ supports better public health outcomes.
